Add Open Ecology to Perplexity

Perplexity accepts remote MCP servers as custom connectors. You add Open Ecology once in your account settings.

Plans: Pro, Max and Enterprise, on the web and desktop apps. The mobile apps may only show Perplexity's own connectors.

Enterprise: members can only add custom connectors after an admin switches on Allow members to add custom connectors under Enterprise settings, Connectors. An admin can also add Open Ecology once and share it with the organisation.

02Confirm it's installed

Open Ecology should appear in your Connectors list as connected. When you ask a question, check that the connector is selected for that search.

Then start a new chat and ask:

What lot is 12 Sunbury Drive, Peachester, and how big is it?

A correct answer names lot 55 on SP168934, a recorded area of about 2.17 ha and Sunshine Coast Regional Council, and cites the Queensland Government cadastre as the source.

03Try these

Each of these runs on the free tools. If your assistant answers from the web instead, start the prompt with "Use Open Ecology to".
