Add Open Ecology to Mistral Vibe

Mistral's assistant, formerly Le Chat and now Vibe, accepts remote MCP servers as custom connectors in Vibe Work.

Who can add it: adding a connector is an administrator task. On Free, Pro and Student plans the account owner is the administrator; on Team and Enterprise plans, ask your admin.

01Install

  1. Open the Connectors page from the sidebar.
  2. Select + Add Connector and switch to the Custom MCP Connector tab.

  3. Enter openecology as the connector name (no spaces), paste the server URL above, and select Connect. Vibe detects that no sign-in is needed.

02Confirm it's installed

The Connectors page should list openecology as connected, and opening it shows its tools.

Then start a new chat and ask:

What lot is 12 Sunbury Drive, Peachester, and how big is it?

A correct answer names lot 55 on SP168934, a recorded area of about 2.17 ha and Sunshine Coast Regional Council, and cites the Queensland Government cadastre as the source.
